Thank you all. The last vestiges of summer. I have a feeling if I went back to this tree today, they'd be gone (we've had some very wet, cold weather the last 2 days).
But at least you have preserved and permanised it, Dawn. Sharing it here like this means that it is never entirely gone, so maybe it will serve to help us all get through that winter that's not so far off. By the way, Jenny (Sharon DP) told me to come and marvel at your wonders. It sure wasn't misplaced advice - your work is a real collection of jewels.
