I love that comment. (Gives hope to us masses living in quiet desperation!) Also, The lone tree is a perfect image for solitude.
I find this quote to be very tree - its weird how the mind works like that but a solitary tree does not always mean a lonely tree - just a tree alone left to think and ponder another creative thought =)
And I have to say...it wasn't lonely out there at all. It was stunningly beautiful and vast and thought-provoking.
